PS He didnt get hit

I got attacked by a drunk guy last night at midnight.
Wrong.
I didnt get attacked, and it wasnt midnight
Although there was a drunk guy

I wanted the light to change to cross the street so I clicked the button
and a man hugging a paper package, with obviously a bottle, said
Hey the light will change soon. Hey, i'm drunk.

Like really it was only around seven o'clock-ish and even then, it was dark.
The light that I wanted to change was still that bright neon orange hand,
signaling us that it still wasn't alright for people to walk.
and the man just said: GO GO NOW! CROSS THE STREET!
even though there were cars driving by.
the man stood besides me and told me to cross, so he started to walk onto the street when cars were fully driving
luckily the light finally changed back to that familiar walking sign
